First weather forecast for the Quebrantahuesos 2026

We already have the first weather forecast for the 2026 Ibercaja Quebrantahuesos by TotalEnergies Cyclosportive, provided by the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

According to AEMET, skies will be mostly clear or slightly cloudy during the morning. From midday onwards, cloud cover is expected to increase, with high clouds and daytime convective development that may lead to showers in the afternoon, especially on the French side of the route, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms. By evening, skies are expected to clear again.

Minimum temperatures will remain fairly stable, around 17–18°C in the valleys and 15°C on the mountain passes.

Maximum temperatures will rise slightly, reaching approximately 31–34°C in the valleys and 24–27°C on the passes.

Winds will blow from the southeast and south in the valleys, generally light, although around midday they will shift to northerly winds in the French sector. On the mountain passes, winds will become stronger, with moderate intervals, particularly during the early morning and late afternoon.

However, should showers or thunderstorms develop, temperatures may drop sharply for a short period of time and strong gusts of variable-direction winds may occur.
