The Ibercaja Quebrantahuesos by Totalenergies Cycle Tour is unique, and one of its complexities is knowing when and how to register. This has been one of the most frequently asked questions since we announced the date of the next edition, which will be on Saturday, 20 June 2026.
There are two ways to participate in the tour: you can pre-register for the lottery, which will begin on 2 December at 11 a.m. (CET) and run until 13 January 2026 at 1 p.m. (CET), or you can join a group with a Direct Place. These groups can register from 18 November at 11 a.m. (CET) to 18 December at 1 p.m. (CET) in 2025.
Plaza Directa allows you to secure a place in the Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo 2026 without having to participate in the draw. Below is a list of the groups that have direct access and other ways to obtain it:
Plaza Directa QH 2026 groups:
- 15 or more participations: cyclists who have completed 15 or more editions of the Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo.
- QH 2025 hospitalised: participants who, during Quebrantahuesos 2025, suffered an accident and were taken to hospital by the organisation’s medical services.
- Pirineos No Limits 2025: cyclists who completed the Pirineos No Limits 2025 challenge, consisting of the 3 Nacions, Quebrantahuesos and La Ariégeoise races.
- QH 2025 unlucky ones: double track.
- Madrid 7 Picos promotion: participants who were unlucky in the QH 2025 draw and registered for Madrid 7 Picos 2025 in the 7 Picos category.
- o ‘INVITACIONMF’ promotion: participants who were not lucky in the QH 2025 draw and who registered for Treparriscos 2025 using the code ‘INVITACIONMF’.

Here are other ways to obtain a Direct Place:
- Madrid 7 Picos 2026: the first 600 people to register for the 7 Picos category of Madrid 7 Picos 2026 will obtain a direct place for QH 2026.
- Official packs: participants who purchase the Premium Pack or the Training Pro Pack.
- Official tour operators: those who purchase the accommodation + registration pack through the event’s official tour operators.
