The draw that decides the participation at the Marcha Cicloturista Ibercaja Quebrantahuesos by TotalEnergies 2022, held today at the Palais des Sports de Pau (France), has given as the cut number 3.254 for the Quebrantahuesos Gran Fondo 2022. For the Treparriscos Medio Fondo 2022, it has not been necessary to hold the draw, so all those registered for this route will have a place on June 18.
This year’s draw has received mora than 9.000 applications for the Marcha Cicloturista Ibercaja Quebrantahuesos by TotalEnergies from more than 30 different countries. Quique Ascaso, vice-president of the Edelweiss Cycling Club, emphasized the importance of holding the event in the French town of Pau, highlighting the international character and exposure of the event: “Being here today gives us even more international relevance. It is a great new for the core view of the QH”.
Fernando Arcega, head of institutional business and sponsorship of Ibercaja, has highlighted the follow-up of the historical binomial QH-Ibercaja after complex years for society as a whole: “Ibercaja’s collaboration wit this event represents with a hugh intensity our reason of being and corporativo purpose, supporting our partners and collaborators during those hard times. This kind of partnerships allow us to translate our core values such as compromise, closeness and effort through unique experiences”.
On his side, Pascal Trouilh, Comms Resp. du Site de Pau, in TotalEnergies, has inaugurated the sponsorship of the French energy company that assures that “partnerships like this show our commitment to sports and it adds on our Team Totalenergies in order to advance towards a 2022 full of these events energy, in France and in Spain”.
Taking into account the cut-off number, the XXXI edition of the Marcha Cicloturista Ibercaja Quebrantahuesos by TotalEnergies will allow to register to all those who have numbers between 3.254 y el 9.098 y el 1 y el 159 3.254 and 9.098 and 1 and 159. For the Treparriscos, for which it has not been necessary to hold the draw, all the registered have a place. From next week, the holders of the lucky numbers will receive an e-mail with the instructions to process the definitive inscription. The deadline will end on February 7 at 12:00 noon, peninsular time.
As usual, the organization seeks ways to reward the most loyal participants and those who have not been lucky in the draws, so this year have obtained direct place without the need for a draw the following groups: those who have completed fifteen or more editions of the Quebrantahuesos, those who have participated without luck in the draw in the last three editions including this year, those who got a bib as a prize of a promotion of the sponsors and those who decided to transfer their participation after the postponement of the March.
For those who have not won, the organization offers Premium and Training Packs, which offer a safe place in the race and a specific training plan. They can also obtain places through our partner travel agencies, by becoming members of the QH365 Club or by signing up for the Pyrenees No Limits challenge, which upon completion also guarantees a place in the 2023 Quebrantahuesos.
